About Us
Purusharth Dewangan does not claim to be a philosopher. He engages in the disciplined questioning of belief, perception, and human systems.
His approach involves looking at inherited narratives religious, cultural, political, and psychological with a calm yet rigorous gaze. He does not promote any doctrine or take sides. Instead, he seeks clarity, drawing quietly from both Eastern and Western traditions, free from preconceived judgments.
The Purusharth
The Purusharth is a bilingual (English–Hindi) intellectual space dedicated to serious inquiry. Nothing is promoted. Nothing is defended. It encourages examination. The purpose is to question inherited assumptions, analyze systems of thought, and cultivate intellectual independence through reasoned discourse.
Method & Ethics:
- Critique ideas, not individuals
- Respectful and evidence-based discussion
- No personal attacks
- No ideological alignment
The emphasis is on clarity, nuance, and thoughtful skepticism.
Position
This is not a movement. It is not a campaign. It is an ongoing exploration of complex questions including belief systems, morality, gender dynamics, psychological conditioning, and structural power. Curiosity, not certainty, guides the work.
Intellectual Foundation
This work prioritizes critical examination over inherited assumption. Ritual, tradition, and belief are studied as psychological and social phenomena not as unquestioned authority.
Human Experience
Human identity including sexuality, belief, doubt, and privacy is approached as a subject of inquiry rather than judgment. The aim is understanding, not moral policing.
Power & Structure
Social systems, political power, and institutional influence are examined through evidence and analysis. The focus is on understanding structural dynamics, not promoting ideological allegiance.
Purpose
Belief systems shape perception. Perception shapes action. This platform exists to refine perception through disciplined inquiry so that individuals think independently rather than inherit conclusions.
